Rector Vladimir. F. Stanis . At the age of 18, he fought at Stalingrad during winter without warm clothes. They were defending their homeland, the Soviet Union. There, he got a lifetime disease - chronic sciatica. He finished Moscow Government University. Later on he worked at MGU, the Ministry of Higher Education and the University of Peoples' Friendship. He loved life and students. While in the Soviet system Stanis did everything to save the interests of University. Even in tough time he saved University. We remember him as a very honest and good man.
