07 February Saturday - 16:00 On February 7, 2015, the People's Friendship University of Russia will celebrate its 55th anniversary with a large concert featuringthe University student associations from over one hundred countries. The celebration will gather politicians, businessmen, scientists, and other members of the present and future elite. About six thousand guests,the former University graduates, from one hundred and seventy countries, are expected. The People's Friendship University of Russia is the only university in the world where students come from all over the planet totalling about one hundred fifty countries. In 2014, the University has had 28,000 students from one hundred forty-eight countries pursuing under-and post-graduate education and internships. Its staff includes over five thousand members, among which are two thousand five hundred teachers, with about six hundred professors and doctors, and about nine hundred associate professors. During its fifty-five year history, the University has received world-wideacclaim and won well-deserved recognition as a classical university which has ranked high in Russian and international university ratings.
